I have a new website
Hey folks. Welcome to the newest representation of Yours Truly on the world wide interweb. I have a weird history with websites. Due to the fact that I am cheap, I have always created my own websites. The problem is that I know little to nothing about websites.
The first couple of sites were built on Microsoft Word. You aren’t really supposed to do that, but I didn’t know. The good news was that I had one of the best Microsoft Word websites on the internet back then. The bad news was that I was the only one with a Microsoft Word website. And it sucked.
Then I think I tried out a few other programs – like iWeb and something called RapidWeaver. These programs were built for people who know nothing about websites. They served their purpose. I applaud them for their service.
The problem arose when I somehow got locked out of my own website. I couldn’t update it. It just sat there like Andrew McCarthy – waiting for an update or a new version. I was also too busy to do anything about it.
Enter Johan.
I met Johan when I was traveling in Sweden earlier this year. He is a musician as well. He also does great work on websites. He scolded me for my horrible not-updated website. Then he offered to help. I think he has done a fine job. (Thanks, Johan!)
SIDENOTE: Since I am American, I say Johan like YO-hawn. I think he says it more like YO-win. I am trying to teach him how to pronounce it correctly.
I am slowly going to transfer some of the wonderful nuggets of wisdom from the old site to this one, so be patient with me. Also, if you have any requests for stuff for me to write about or review, let me know. Odds are that I will not have the time to do it – so don’t get your hopes up. I just want you to feel like you are a part of this too – even though you aren’t. I mean, you are. Yeah. You are – at least as much as Al Gore is.

I love the new site. And, FYI, I pronounce Johan as Joe-hawn. Oh well.

See, all good things come from Sweden! I’m so thankful I’m finally learning how to pronounce my own name after all these years.
Good luck with the new website, we did a great job!

Wow, I had never realized how much you look like Al Gore. Dead ringer in this picture.
Ain’t it about time for a new album? Itching for one here in Oklahoma. Need to get you back here soon.
