For many years now I have submitted songs to be a part of the Kerrville Folk Festival's New Folk competition. I grew up going to this festival and it has been a great doorway into the world of Folk music for many people. For a number of reasons I am sure, I never made it to be a New Folk Finalist - until this year. I will be performing two songs on May 30th in the competition. Although I am a competitive person, this is not the kind of "competition" I am really into. But I look forward to hanging out at the festival and playing a few songs. If you are coming to this festival, be sure to say hello.

I am in the middle of my run of shows in TX and wanted to let you guys know about one more show that I am adding before I come home. It will be at the home of Jon Meyer in Richardson, TX.
